Zestig internationale ikebanagroepen en individuele kunstenaars demonstreren in grootschalige installaties en Land art hun creatieve Ikebanakunst. Het boek bevat 200 kleurillustraties en is een Engelstalige uitgave.

“Contemporary Ikebana” can roughly be divided in large–scale Land art compositions and smaller installations. Special emphasis is given to collective efforts and Ikebana Group works, although some smaller solo works are also included because of their beauty and artistic value. The book contents 200 photographs of nearly sixty Ikebana groups of thirteen nationalities.
